I
’ve always loved writing. Long before I cared about lap times or race strategies, I cared about stories, especially the kind that felt like an adventure. The Adventures of Tintin was the first thing that made me want to become a writer. The idea that curiosity could take you across the world, into danger, discovery, and truth, stuck with me. I didn’t just read those stories, I wanted to create that feeling for other people.
Motorsport became the world I wanted to write about. What draws me in isn’t only what happens on track, but the narratives around it: the tension, the personalities, the decisions, and the moments that shape a season beyond the final result. Writing lets me slow everything down and make sense of a sport that moves incredibly fast.
Through The Slipstream Effect, I write to explore Motorsport the same way Tintin explored the world, with curiosity, attention, and respect for the story. Whether I’m breaking down a race weekend or diving into a larger narrative, my goal is always to make the reader feel something, learn something, and want to keep turning the page.
